How to use the Library Catalogue
'Rethinking Dewey' as it relates to the arrangement of our History Room
In line with current library thinking, we have recently rearranged the text resources of our History Room by what we perceive to be the major focus areas of this Collection, rather than by traditional Dewey arrangement. This policy may be reviewed here, however please note that this is a work in progress, and changes can be expected. We will be ensuring that items contain specific subject search terms to facilitate easy recall through our Online Catalogue and Library Management system.
Specific search terms required to search the main collection areas of the Local History Room are as follows:
