What's new?
* "Explore the amazing history of you!" Ancestry Library Edition now available in the Goolwa and Strathalbyn libraries *
also, just updated is the Alexandrina Council electronic Cemetery Burial History Database. Photos of individual headstones are gradually being added. Access the database here, or through the wiki link in 'Cemeteries'.
Where are we?
Situated in the Alexandrina Library Service, 11 Cadell Street, Goolwa, South Australia
When can you access our History Room?:
The library hours are Mondays to Fridays, 9 am to 5 pm, and Saturday morning, 9 am to 12 noon.
History Room volunteers are available for individual assistance on Thursdays between 10 am and 2 pm, or by alternative arrangement.
Library staff are happy to assist at other times during Library hours.

What's happening in our History Room this month?
Every Thursday 10 am to 2 pm volunteers are available in the local history room for local and family history research assistance.

I didn't like the calendar either, so I got rid of it. If someone finds a better one (pluggin) please feel free to upload. I still need to add events in here.

Yes, Barbara, I agree. Unfortunately other than changing the 'skin' there's nothing I can do to fix it. Might be resolved by an upgrade from pbwiki - there's one coming out in the new year.
